I got great value for my money at this small hotel in Saumur. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a lovely big window. The staff treated me with friendliness and politeness, making my stay enjoyable. The location was also convenient.

The restaurant had amazing food, especially the pizzas, and the bar/lounge area had a great atmosphere. The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed at L'Escale De La Gare for a few nights and had a great experience. The room, although small, was spotlessly clean and had large windows that opened fully. Despite being close to the train station, it was surprisingly quiet. The friendly staff, although French-speaking only, made us feel welcome and helped us with any requests. We appreciated the easy-to-find free parking in front of the hotel and the excellent bike storage. a comfortable and convenient stay at a great price.
